Product Notes

Living Deliberately stretches the genre boundries for Del Suggs. It includes his popular 'Saltwater Music' style, with touches of zydeco, celtic, and R&B mixed in. Produced by Del and Pete Winter, this latest release features Pierce Pettis on guitar, David Webb on keyboards, Michael Sautter on harmonica, Danica Winter on vocals, Cathy Chalmers of drums, and many more extraordinairy guests. Eight new originals, and amazing covers of Gram Parsons' 'Brass Buttons' (with help from Velma Frye) and Jon Pousette-Dart's 'County Line.' Del Suggs is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from the beaches of North Florida. If you've ever heard Del perform live, it was likely on a college campus. In 2001, he was inducted into the National Campus Entertainment Hall of Fame by Campus Activities magazine and the nation's campuses. Del performs nearly 100 times each year, and sings his original songs for over 100,000 people annually. His accolades are too numerous to list. Del was named The Very Best Of 2002/2003 in the Music Category by Campus Activities magazine. He was named 'Best Solo Artist for 2002' by the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities. Del was named as a Finalist for the 2008 Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities awards for 'Best Solo Act.' Del has released five solo albums: 'Living Deliberately,' 'LIVE,' 'Floating On The Surface,' 'Wooden Boat," and 'Saltwater Music'. He has also been a featured artist on seven compilation albums, including: "Tallahassee Selects," "Music From The Rascal Yard," "The Prime Meridian", "The Cascades Collection", and "A Cascades Christmas".
