Driver was formed by Paul Barnes in 1997 along with drummer Tim Kelly, Bass player 'two bellies' Nige and Guitarist David Tutcher. This fourth album from driver is arguably the strongest recorded mainly at fairview studios in Willerby, Hull. This album firmly establishes drivers style of songwriting with huge sweeping epics to the most simple of pop songs it has recieved the most rave revues. Songs to listen out for include 'blue eyes' a dance ode to madchester 'Frankie's theme' a moving cinematic instrumental 'Don't go' beutifully simple guitar pop at it's best. If you've not listened to driver yet this is the best album to start with. Taken from Driver Biog.
