I Got What You Need
Ed "Porkchop" Meyer was born in Detroit and raised by wolves. At the age of 12, he made his first piano from a burnt box spring mattress and a big wooden cable spool left in his wolf family's front yard by the phone company. At the age of 15, he made his first submarine out of a 55 gallon drum and a 7.5 HP Evinrude outboard motor. By 18, 'pain pills', cheap booze, a lazy manager and a grueling social life had left him spent, broken and a little overweight. He knows what it means to need. Porkchop has spent the last 30 years putting it all back together and these nine songs contain all the wisdom and wonder that he has seen on his journey back. There's probably enough for another three or four albums.
