We would like to thank the 2008 8th Annual International Christrian Songwriters Search for it's Runner-Up nomination for our song 'What a Day That Will Be'. We also thank the Lord for blessing the song for doing so well. We hope you find it a true blessing as well. The Edwards Family makes their home in Central Texas. They have been singing in churches for more than 10 years. Sarah, the youngest at age 11, has been singing in school and church since the 2nd grade. They enjoy singing and sharing their faith and love for Jesus Christ. This CD contains songs that the good Lord has blessed James with. He has been writing songs since the late 80's and it is something he really enjoys. His music style is basically southern gospel which he aquired while living in Nashville Tennesse in the early-90's. He also attains some contemporary gospel style from listening to some of his daughter's music which reflects in some of his songs as well. MEET THE BAND Sarah sings lead and helps her dad on harmonies. She is the true blessing of the group. We thank God for her each and every day. She is now 11 years old and will be going into the 6th grade. She has been singing to the public since 2nd grade in school plays and at church and she really enjoys it. She is active in her school activities and in band where she will be playing the saxophone this year. She also participates in Karate and is a yellow belt. She is also active in GA's, discipleship, caroling at Christmas time, children's choir, adult choir and hand bells at their local church. Tina sings lead and helps on harmonies when she can. She has always been active in church and singing. She grew up in a small church in central Texas where she started singing at the age of 2 and has been singing ever since. At their local church, she is in charge of the nursery, active in GA's, coordinates the clothes closet and sits in with the adult choir when she has time. James plays guitar, sings harmonies and helps on lead if needed. His true God given talent is his ability to write songs and it is something he really enjoys. He has always enjoyed singing with his wife Tina and really enjoys singing with his daughter Sarah. At their local church he is active in adult choir, VBS every year and anything else that needs taken care of for the Lord. His 'alone' time is when he receives his inspiration for the songs he writes. This is when he gets to truly reflect on what the good Lord has done for him and his family.
