The Electronic Artists Relief Syndicate emerged from an effort by the global community of electronic musicians to respond to the terrible tragedy in Asia on Dec. 26th, 2004. We created a compilation album in order to raise money to donate to the victims of this horrible disaster. The beautifully eclectic album 'Whirlstream' was born out of this heartfelt collaboration. In light of the recent devastation caused by hurricane Katrina in the Gulf of Mexico, we have broadened our scope of aid to include the victims of that terrible disaster as well. All of the funds raised from the sale of this album will be directly donated to charity in order to help those victims devastated in the wake of these terrible disasters. Whirlstream made it's debut at the exciting Remix Hotel Miami during this year's Winter Music Conference in March. Please listen to the previews of the CD showcasing a broad range of musical styles presented by an international selection electronic musicians. There's something here for everyone. The artists that contributed to this album represent a genuinely global effort. They hail from countries such as: Italy, Croatia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, the US, Turkey, Belgium, and the Ukraine. Please buy the CD today, and delight yourself with the sensational music on offer, and with the knowledge that you're pitching-in for a great humanitarian cause.
