Singer/songwriter, Eliza, knew as early as 3 years old when she sat on the backsteps of her Alabama home and wrote her first lyrics that she was destined for a life filled with music. She grew up singing at churches and various events such as the Tony Orlando Show and the Barbara Fairchild Show in Branson, the Nashville Gospel Music Convention, the Seafood Festival in Panama City, FL, Full Gospel Businessmen's Convention, Christ For the Nations Bible College, University of Alabama Christian Athletes, numerous coffee houses, radio and television appearances, and a performance for Coretta Scott King honoring her husband, the late Dr. Martin Luther King. While Eliza was in college, she continued her musical aspirations as lead singer of the college showband. She also won awards such as the overall talent winner in the Miss Alabama Pageant and the Full Gospel Gold City Music Competition. Although Eliza had achieved much already, she always knew that there was something more for her to do musically. In 1999, Eliza packed her bags and guitar and moved to Nashville. In 2000, she met a songwriter/musician, Michael Trimble, an aspiring artist who has written music and performed on national tours and television shows such as The Arsenio Hall Show, and Club MTV for RCA recording artist Stevie B. Michael and Eliza began writing and recording and discovered a tremendous musical chemistry together. In 2001, Michael became Eliza's husband. In 2003, they began production of Eliza's CD titled "One Me." Big names from Nashville and New York such as Kevin Ward, Richie Pena, Ziggy Diaz, Benny Quinn, and Joyce Martin have been involved. These producers/engineers have worked with well known artists such as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, N'Sync, The Martins, and many other gospel groups and secular artists. " I want my music to appeal to a wide range of people," says Eliza. Eliza has a smart, enthusiastic, christian-based, alternative/pop style with challenging lyrics and a unique vocal style that captivates audiences of all ages. The energy felt through her music and poetic songwriting project an outreaching message of sincerity. She portrays an image which is reflected through music providing a message that will change the world's perception of issues facing today's generation.
