God Save the Crane
Hello world, We are releasing a collection of tracks that feature both melody and harmony, occasionally at the same time. We made God Save the Crane in the last ten weeks or so, here at Lawrence. We started out at the radio station, moved to the bedroom, finished in the studio. It was a very eventful and exhausting adventure, but it's done now, and we're very proud of it. When people ask, 'Hey, what kind of music is on that album?' you should reply 'gypsy rap' and then run away quickly. But if they follow you, then they've earned it, and you can say that it's a cohesive mix of piano pop, guitar rock, and a little bit of jazz licks here and there. And maybe a slight tinge of gypsy rap. The album has nine songs, and there are violins, trumpets, melodicas and keytars, along with the normal piano, bass, guitar, drums and bisexual vocals (I feel like that's not right, but I mean to say male & female vocals). So enjoy the album, and write to us and tell us if you like it, or if you hate it. If you hate it, we'll completely refund your...time - you can write an email filled with whatever you want that takes 35 minutes to read, and we will read it, thus wasting our 35 minutes as well. But hopefully you won't hate it, I don't think you will.
