Wait & See
Raised in Wisconsin and Michigan respectively, Aaron Netsell and Neil Peplinski both found themselves working for the same engineering company in Chicago in 1994. Being musicians and songwriters, they quickly found themselves getting together after work for blues jams and before long they had a set list and were playing out at parties and coffeehouses. Producing a CD seemed like the obvious next step. Their first album, Wait and See, was fully recorded, mixed and mastered by the duo themselves, at Peplinski's home studio. The CD contains 10 original songs consisting of acoustic and electric blues, with a wide range of styles and flavors mixed in. TC blues and Bend me don't break me are pure acoustic blues, while 3 a.m. and Little black dog feature screamin' electric leads. Asi asi is reminiscent of early Santana, and Spanish kiss closes the album out with a distinct South of the border flair. With such a wide range of styles, this album has something for everyone.
