Felecia and the Dinosaur is primarily Felecia Campbell accompanied by Seth Williams on the west coast and Terri Norris on the east coast. Felecia and Seth have been collaborating since freshman year of high school playing in bands such as Happy Apathy, the Sharp Minors, and Blonde Murphy. Terri had been deeply involved in the music scene on the east coast with bands like the Keylows and the Mike Teas. As all of their musical endeavors reached a calming point they decided to put their skills to the test. "Music Infusion" was born. The debut album was a mistake. In 2008 Campbell and Williams planned to record songs that never had the chance to be recorded and wound up writing a new set. Rough takes were recorded at the Dino Hut in Portland, then sent off to be mixed by Norris in Atlanta, who also played drums and keys on many of the songs. With politically charged lyrics and a mission statement like "stand taller," the album was released in September of 2008.
