Since forming in 1990, the Old Blind Dogs have stood on the cutting edge of Scotland's roots revival. On FOUR ON THE FLOOR (their tenth release and first as a quartet) their energetic mix of soaring fiddle playing and stirring pipes, puncuated with the pulse of djembe and conga, has audiences dancing in the aisles. The Dogs tour the globe from intimate clubs to international festivals, including a performance before England's Prince Charles, "Old Blind Dogs play with a compelling energy and intoxicating rhythm" says the Scotsman, "as players and audience seem to share a wild ecstasy of emotion".
