Born in Chicago of Italian heritage, moved to LA at an early age, lived in Venice Ca. In his early youth. Nurtured on R and B, rock, folk, blues, country and jazz, and being Italian, you had to have listened to some opera. Frank has been playing and writing for over twenty years. Early on he realized the effect of music on himself and others. Frank describes this music as 'BRIDGE MUSIC.' 'Socially conscious lyrics with an inspirational, motivational edge. 'Pep talk for the spirit.' Stylized in a folk rock blues format, but not limited to it. Frank performed for Amnesty International. Fund raisers for the homeless. Many clubs in the LA area. Hey, he's even been singing in the choir at SRF Lake Shrine for the past thirteen years or more. But his main focus has been trying to 'bridge' the gap between the inspirational and secular. Franks' CD 'BADLDOG' is about Spiritual Tenacity. Not buying in to the 'apathy' of secular media bombardment, and today's society. Bridge music looks at all conditions of life with and from a spiritual perspective. It's about intent and message. Bridge music tries to engage and challenge the listener to take a deeper look at the 'Real' purpose of life. We are all on a 'spiritual path' whether we know it or not, like it or not! BADLDOG is not about 'denomination or dogma.' It is about Balance, Sublimation, Motivation. It is not 'preachy or heavy handed guilt oriented.' It's meant to encourage, and with a little luck even inspire the listener to not give up. To hang in and hold on even in tough times to what ever name you call the POWER that created and sustains all that exists. Paraphrasing Gandhi 'THE TIME FOR RELIGION IS OVER, THE TIME FOR SPIRITUALITY IS HERE.' Hopefully this CD 'BADLDOG' will get you to think. It has a certain relaxed, 'street wise' sensibility about subject matter that many people seem to have a vague or even uncomfortable attitude toward. So sit back relax and enjoy.
