Franko Richmond, protege of the legendary pianists Early Wild and Ahmad Jamal, began his career as a child prodigy and international concert pianist. By his early twenties he had already appeared in over 500 concert including Carnegie Hall in New York and with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. He also appeared with may major stars including Bill Cosby, Steve Allen, Dinah Shore, Rodney Dangerfield, Red Skelton and Dizzy Gillespie. As a composer, he has written and produced many CDs, several Broadway shows, a movie score, and the environmental theme song, 'The Time Has Come'. A Steinway artist published by Hal Leonard, Franko currently resides with his wife, Gail Lima in Key West, Florida.
