"... [The Fuzz Brothers] covers lots of musical terrain from rock to blues to pop; it's one of the best local CD's I've heard this year." -Jim Catalano, The Ithaca Journal "While Sam's voice is strong and unrestrained, it is balanced out by his brother Casey's soulful piano playing. Casey, who has been playing piano since he was eight-years-old, has been legally blind since birth, making him somewhat of a local music sensation." -Laura Lanz-Frolio, Ithaca Times THE FUZZ BROTHERS are a 5-piece rock band from Ithaca, NY. The group's primary songwriters are lead singer Sam Harris, his brother Casey Harris on keyboard, and childhood friend Noah Feldshuh on guitar. The three founded the group in 2003 and in 2005 began playing with bassist Luke Hutchings and drummer Pat Paolangeli, both of whom perform on the self-titled CD. Casey, who has been blind since birth, gives the band a deep, soulful edge with his incredible piano playing, while his brother Sam's 'Jeff Buckley-meets-Mick Jaggar-meets-Chris Cornell' voice drives the music forward with an unbeatable lyrical ferocity. Live, they light up the stage with their energy and musical stamina and that power is reflected all throughout their music. Their music has been said to sound like a mixture of alternative rock, soul, blues, pop, and punk, but those who truly know The Fuzz Brothers will say that it sounds like nothing else.
