Description
Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel.
The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.

Comments about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Xbox 360):
After hearing so much about the game I decided to give it a go and see if it could possibly live up to all the hype. And surprisingly it does. Right from the start it's an engaging game and will keep you busy. There's loads to explore and I've not gotten half way through it yet. If your in any way into adventure games then you've probably already got this (if not get it now) but it's a game that should appeal to anyone.
Does the game live up to all the hype - hell yes

Comments about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Xbox 360):
Bethesda outdid itself once more with Skyrim, the 5th installment in The Elder Scrolls series. Great graphics and a music score that grows on you, the game is nevertheless plagued by the Curse of The Elder Scrolls i.e. Big Bad Bugs. These can annoy you or may be serious enough to force you to restart a new character. However, do keep in mind that Skyrim is a very BIG WORLD and when things get complex, bugs are inevitable. Ff you are a fanboy of the TES series or have a stomach for bugs, give this game a go.
*Note on region compatability for XBOX 360: Region locking appears to be in effect for the game and you are advised to buy a copy with the same region for your console.

Comments about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Xbox 360):
I'm going to keep this succinct and to the point. Fans of the series will love this game, there's no doubt about that. The leveling system has been greatly improved upon, the graphics are superb and the story-line combines elements of old (dragons) with new twists (shouts). There's a lot of game content and you will probably never complete this game 100%.
That being said, for me personally it became a bit stale. Sure it's a new land with new locations and opportunities, but there are two things that kept me from enjoying this game as much as others.
1. The bland landscape that comes with being 80% snowy terrain, 5% towns, and 15% caves/ruins. Also the view of the world map was appalling. For PC users there are mods to enhance this, but for Xbox 360 users, sorry; you're stuck with it.
2. The same basic gameplay elements. Find out you're the chosen one, go on an epic quest to save the world, then wander into an endless number of caves with a billion little side-quests.
If you can get past that repetitiveness of this, then this game will shine brightly as a true gem in your game collection. If not, strap yourself in for just an overhaul on the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.
I'd give it 8.5 out of 10.
