Delightful self titled debut from songwriter Glen Kelley. Glen's 'Dylan like' yet pleasing vocal style combined with some of his life's experiences make for exceptionally good listening. Get ready for several music styles such as country, blues, rock and roll, folk and southern rock!. Prepare yourself for a roller coaster ride of topics and emotions: "Strawberries and Pineapple Juice" is the kind of light hearted fun feeling corn ball fare that Americans seem to fall for again and again. Glen describes melancholy to you in "Bartender Buy a Round" "In The End" is almost unbearable in it's description of a father and son's feelings of desertion. "Love all Over again" is an old story of two young lovers who went their separate ways and years later when accidentally reunited realize that they were meant to be. Glen's Telling makes you yearn for more of the story. "Burning My Candle at Both Ends" is uncomfortable in it's description of the lust and depravity that humans can let themselves be consumed by in drugs and alcohol. Is the character telling a story of what happened or is the character dreaming of what might be happening from a drunken stupor? "Let's Fly Naked!" conveys a humorous all to common outrage of an experience at the airport. "Jesse James" Hard driving song about an old west gunfighter. "Never Met a Girl Like You" Excitement of new love. "Contractor Man" is a driving rocker. Another anthem for the hard working man. "Thinking 'Bout My Baby" Are these musings of a lucky guy flipping through a girlie mag seeing his babe ...or just the average wishing? "Long Road" Glen's message to his son's.
