Band-mates Brandon Hixson and brothers Heath and Preston Cave had been playing music together since early school days working with youth camps and other youth functions. The young men, with a desire to share the love of Christ through music, set out on a musical journey that hasn't stopped since. The name 'Godfueled' came from band member Heath Cave: 'I wanted a title that says exactly who we are and best represents the music we play...fueled by Christ!' 'I love to share the Word of Christ through music,' states Hixson, 'it gives me an opportunity to minister to all types of people in a way that I wouldn't be able to do otherwise. I believe that music is a powerful tool that can trigger any emotion - I want to use it to glorify Christ!' The recording 'TWENTYFOUR.SEVEN' on ECHO Records, is an assortment of songs the group has collected during their seven year career including the retro anthem, 'Why Me, Jesus?' - co written by Quarterflash's Marv Ross. The package also includes the rock-flowing 'Compass' the melancholy 'Shelter of His Shadow', the inspirational ballad, 'I Know You're Out There,' and the praise and worship compositions, 'Prayer Of Wings' and 'Integrity of the Heart'.
