Lord Jesus Is Our Role Model
GOD'S NU CREATION GOSPEL SINGING MINISTRY These electrifying gospel singers minister the good news that the Lord Jesus has for us, to all God's people in and out of churches, allowing us to listen and understand God's word through spiritual songs. Singing contemporary gospel music, together with great traditional gospel songs, God's Nu Creation has produced their own unique and elegant sound. They have combined secular music with Christian spiritual lyrics, to awaken Gods children to understand his righteousness in this world God's Nu Creation says, "Our music is made with love for the children of God. We have to continue to remind people to be repetitious, by putting their hearts and minds in the proper perspective, and that is through praising and worshiping God and son Jesus Christ who died for all of us." History Founder Carvel Rease and original member, the late Marvin Myers, had been singing since their childhood years. They had sung from churches, talent shows and nightclubs, all the way to auditoriums, arenas, and other venues. One of their choir teachers was the multi-talented Mr. Justin Hairston a singer, songwriter and actor. Mr. Hairston played an elderly deacon on the television sitcom "Amen." After Mr. Hairston left, minister of music minister Joe Smith taught us to sing religious songs with secular music inserting Christian lyrics in 1970. Mr. Myers and Mr. Rease joined the school gospel choir at McClymonds High School known as, The Symphonic Young Adult Choir. We sung religious songs all over the Bay Area and throughout the state. We also were invited and had the privilege of singing in the Los Angeles Forum with the great Rev. James Cleveland. Before God's Nu Creation sang together in their ministry, they were singing secular R&B music. "We were known as The Numonics. We won many awards such as the Baby Jewel award and many other awards. Members of the group have performed with great artist such as: James Brown Stevie Wonder The Whispers The Gap Band Cameo Larry Graham Melba Moore The Chamber Brothers Tower of Power Johnny 'Guitar' Watson The Spinners Dramatics Sugar Hill Gang Ike and Tina Ray Charles The Delfonics Bobby Womack War Rudy Ray Moore Richard Pryor Pointer Sisters Bloodstones David Ruffin Turning their lives back over to the Lord, God's Nu Creation Gospel Singing Ministry was spiritually brought together. The Lord ministered to brother Carvel Rease in 1990 to write spiritual lyrics over contemporary secular music and to share them with his children. Lifting up the Lord in songs, they wanted to take the ministry even farther by having brother Rease sing with his former R&B singing group. In 1993 Carvel Rease contacted Marvin Jr. Marvin contacted Randy Dancy and David Staton former singers of The Numonics R&B singing group and former gospel singers. God's Creation ministered all around the country. Many lives have been changed though the ministries of Gods Nu Creation. They have sung and ministered in numerous of different venues such as: churches, hospitals, homeless shelters, prisons, drug houses, convalescent homes, Aids Foundations, street corners, Gospel Brunch Shows, television, and radio programs. In 1996 David Staton went home to glory. God's Creation ministry continued on. After auditioning, and trying many different singers, Vincent Taylor was one of the final sparks to reunite God's Creation. Mr. Taylor was an R&B singer. He sang and recorded with groups like the Philosophic, The Utopians, and C.P. Salt. They toured in different states; also he was a known gospel singer in the Bay Area. "Our spiritual songs capture the attention of the youth as well as adults in our world today. We minister to the whole family, young and old, Jesus message of love, peace, and everlasting life for which we all should be preparing to enjoy." God's Nu Creation songwriter and member Carvel Rease attended his church home Love Center Fellowship Seminar. In the songwriting class his teacher was the multi-talented singer and minister Donnie McClurklin. Gods Nu Creation have sang with some of God's greatest gospel singers, such as: Bishop Walter Hawkins, Reverend Cleveland, Edwin Hawkins and The Hawkins Singers, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Dorothy Morrison, Candy Staton and many other Gospel Great Singers. The Home Goings In the year 2001 brought many obstacles and spiritual awakenings and home goings to overcome. Randy left to pursue his R&B career, and Marvin left to seek the gospel in other avenues. Early that year singer Marvin Myers Jr. passed away from this life to a new one. The ministry reorganized Carvel and Vincent kept standing, seeking the Lord and other members who would be on one accord with them to get the Lords message out. Later that year singer Aaliyah passed on to glory. A few weeks later the tragedy of 9/11 in New York City happened. We put out prayers to all the families, and friends lost in that tragedy. Our family felt grief for later that same month our son Jerrell "Beanie Man" Turner at the age of 18 years old drowned in a swimming pool. The help of the Lord, family, and our Soul Beat Television Family, and friends of the community helped us to go through most of the pain and grief. We thank you again Lord for reminding us where you placed our son in heaven with you. The New Birth Through our trails and tribulations the next year in 2002 God's Nu Creation Gospel Singing Ministry was born. Mr. Jose Holmes and his childhood friend David Johnson joined the singing ministry. Mr. Holmes and Mr. Johnson sang in an R&B singing group in the 90's they were singing in a gospel group called "The Disciples of Christ" and "Fully Committed". They also did recordings in the studio. Randy Dancy and Horatio Finley retuned to lend their vocals to the compilation in the studio, when David Johnson left. All the men are at one accord in the studio finishing up the new recordings. We are staying prayed up with one purpose in mind, and that is pleasing God .We thank God for CD Baby.com so we can reach out and touch many of Gods people, Spreading good news that the Lord has commissioned us all to do. This is for the Lord to get the glory in and out of the studio. Because the Lord let's us know who is really in control of our lives. He is! It's finished! It's a done deal! He paid the price long ago at Calvary. I can't thank the Lord enough. We're here to be a blessing to his flock and be edified. That's why we can say confidently that, "I know that I am a blessed child of God, because the Lord Jesus is our role model." We thank God, our family, and friends for supporting and being there for us. This album is dedicated to them, and you people everywhere who are shut in and the innocent people and families that the wars have affected. We put out an effectual fervent prayer, to our Katrina families, and friends and people all around the world.
