Crisp & Snug
Goosebread was formed in 1992 under the moniker 'Rocketwitch' as a humorous acoustic two piece. The Provider supplied sweet vocals and the Lifechanger appeared on guitar/background sultry vocals. This lineup has not changed in 11 years, but the boys' unique songwriting has definitely changed and matured with the physical aging of their incredibly taut bodies. With only two demos (the lost debut 'Blobbik' demo of 1993 and the infamous 'Pit' demo of 1997)recorded in the span of a decade, Rocketwitch decided it was time to make a serious comeback in early 2002. Rocketwitch changed their name to Goosebread and the Hydrogen Jukebox, and later shortened that name to the now well-known Goosebread with a mind to punish mainstream pop followers with their unique brand of acoustic wizardry. With over 40 songs written in the last 2 years and a large batch of live gigs under their belt, Goosebread has unleashed their first independent full-length entitled 'Crisp and Snug' on an unsuspecting and seemingly uncaring public. True to the underground wacko folk scene, Goosebread makes no compromises on this 2002 effort. The Pure Acoustic Insanity of Goosebread emanates from Uniontown, OH.
