He Will Pave the Way
INTRODUCING THE GOSPELAIRES OF GEORGIA The Gospelaires originated in Alapaha, Georgia, a small town in the southeastern part of the state. The group was established out of New Hope Church of God of the Apostolic faith, with five members: a drummer, bass and lead guitarist who also sung first and second tenor, a baritone, and lead vocalist. Deacon Timothy Smith, the group founder and manager, is the glue that keeps these young men focused on singing God's praises. Through the years additional members and instruments have been added as the spirit lead Deacon Smith. Currently the group consists of ten members; Waymond Smith, Michael Barnes, Antwan Smith, Cory Smith, Eric Smith, Deacon Timothy Smith, David Love, Deacon Nathaniel Barnes, Donnell Buchanan, and Derick Dawson. The group has performed concerts in numerous churches and at many community functions, throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. They have opened concerts for such professional artist as the William's Brothers, Jackson Southernaires, Slim and The Supreme Angels, Doc McKenzie, Pilgrim Jubilees, and The Gospel Keynotes of Tyler Texas. The groups mission is simply to 'Sing Praises To Our Lord, Jesus Christ'. 'HE WILL PAVE THE WAY', the first release of the group, was recorded at Sound Master Studio in Alma, Georgia and produced by Big-D Music of Douglas, Georgia. The CD is currently being aired at radio stations in Georgia Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and New York. The songs are our personal testimony about the goodness of God in our lives. We pray that all who listen will be moved to grow closer to God, so that they too can experience the full measure of his grace, love and mercy.
