Life I Choose
Greedy was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He began rapping back in the early 1990's and throughout those years, performed and wrote for other local artists. Greedy was a member of the rap group 'Erban Legendz'. They performed at many different club venues: Zarkows, Quarters, Thai Joes, and many others. During that time, Greedy also spent a year of his life incarcerated. After being released, he formed Strange Brew Records. He often collaborated with Dead Serious Music, another independent label. 'Greedy' whose real name is Jamal Jamerson, managed to compose a compilation CD entitled Re-Up in 2003. This CD was released off the Dead Serious Music lable, which was formed by his pal, Breeze. In the Fall of 2005, Greedy released an undergroup mix tape called 'Ghetto Classics Volume I'. It sold an astounding 200 copies in less than 3 hours in New York City. Also, in the Fall of 2005, his debut CD 'The Life I Choose' was released off Strange Brew Records and Dead Serious Music. With the support of his family and friends, Greedy has successfully found a way to open doors and provide a place for other talented artists to express themselves.
