Never Too Late to Do Nothin' at All
A listener once asked me, \'Are all these songs true stories?\'. Absolutely they\'re all true for somebody, and some are true for a lot of people. Fortunately, even though I often write in the first person, they\'re not all true for me. I do my best work when I\'m writing about things that I\'ve seen, or felt, or lived, and I struggle with writing about things that I pull out of the air. I worked in construction for a lot of years in a lot of places, always afraid of running out of work, or money, or luck or love. In 2005 I cashed in my chips and moved to Mexico trading life in a Leave it to Beaver neighborhood for a house with a palm frond roof on a dirt road by the ocean in Baja. Plus I can\'t drink the water and it\'s tough to talk to the neighbors, but I\'m good with the trade. So give the CD a listen and if you like what you hear, or even if you don\'t, send me an email. And if you\'re down near Cabo San Lucas, be in touch. Maybe we can grab a beer at the Hotel California. Gracias amigos....Love and hugs...Greg.
