Hailcon is the solo work of singer/guitarist Aristotle Quinanola, who started performing live in Washington D.C. area coffee houses and bars. Early 2006 found Hailcon in the studio on a Baltimore college campus. Rob Moore oversaw the sessions (behind the boards as studio engineer and mixer). Aristotle wrote four new songs for this ep, initially planning to record about a dozen plus. Also brought onboard was bassist Frank Rusch (formerly of Ilyaimy and Velveteen), to play on all tracks. Offline was the resulting album, self-released in September. 'This disc itself is truly minimalist in every sense imaginable.' - Michelle Nealis, Music Monthly.
