Product Notes

With a bundle full of talent, a goose bump inspiring voice that grasps your senses and songs that inspire the heart, Hannah Acfield is an up and coming must to watch out for in the Australian music scene. Her music has been described as beautiful, intelligently written, earthy folk/pop with undeniably catchy melodies. "Hannah uses melodic and meaningful phrases that come together in perfect harmony - a gift to the audience that resounds in the soul of music lovers." Josh - fan (Queensland) With a grandfather playing tunes with Cat Stevens, and a brother whose music career is soaring, it can be said that Hannah Acfield, is destined for musical success. This talented young songstress hails from Rockhampton in regional Queensland, but has been gracing Brisbane with her music for the last five years. She has recently moved to Melbourne to further her career in music. 'It's music for the mind - depending on whether you want to contemplate the world or just relax', her honesty and lyrics offer an insight into a not so complicated woman living in a very complicated world." Renee - Music reviewer (Brisbane) Hannah's self funded EP "My Tomorrow" was recorded with producer Brendan Anthony (Inxs, Midnight Oil), utilizing his home studio and the studios at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. It was recorded over a period of two months with the help of her band; brother's Scott and Ken Paterson (used to play with the Veronicas) and talented guitarist Luke Gartner-Brereton. Hannah has played at many venues around Queensland including the The Arena, Barsoma, Seaworld, The Tongue and Groove and Rics Bar and successfully launched her EP at The Globe in Brisbane in February 2008. She is about to stun the music world in Melbourne, so keep your ear out and expect great things! "Listening to Hannah makes me feel real, touched, relaxed, inspired and positive, I can relate to the themes and vibe of her songs. The lyrics made me evaluate my own life." Leighton - fan (Brisbane)
