In 1999 Heavens Sake started recording their second album. Three songs from the album were pressed on a promo CD & the first track Second Time Around had a huge buzz & recieved solid radio airplay. The 2nd album (Shinola) was finally finished in 2001, but at the same time drummer/vocalist Bobby Richardson left the band. Heavens Sake decided not to continue without the 3 original members, so Shinola remained shelved until July 31, 2007 - ten years to the day of the release of Heavens Sake's self titled debut CD. Produced by Mitch Easter (REM, Let's Active), Shinola is finally available after all these years.
