Preface to a Ganster
Hailing from the West Side of Los Angeles, 'The Heir' is next in line to conquer the Rap/Hip-Hop Kingdom. 'The Heir' being short for 'The Heir to the Throne', is introducing a mixture of the Sunset High life, and the grittiness of Los Angeles' notorious "Jungles". The streets claim that he will be the next big artist to come out of the West since Snoop Dogg. Business partner Ed McShan describes The Heir as possessing the "High-Roller" gangster image of Ice-T in his prime, with the flashiness and fashion sense of Diddy. McShan describes his music as being a hybrid of Biggie's vivid street story-telling ability, and the controversy and passion of Tupac. The Heir is looking to conquer the World, and give the sound of the West an upgrade. With this album, his plan is to give his perception of the West Coast, a more flashy Gangster life. Producer C.O.S. says like the "Chronic" by Dr. Dre, and "Death Certificate" by Ice Cube, "a classic it is". The Heir is co-owner with partner Edward McShan of their label MCMD.
