Description
Vintage, horror, classic starring Vincent Price. Five strangers are invited to stay the night at a haunted house with each receiving $10,000 if they can live through the night. This 1950's horror movie stars Vincent Price as Frederick Loren, an eccentric millionaire and Carol Ohmart as Annabelle Loren (Price's wife), Alan Marshal as Dr. Trent, Richard Long as Lance, and Carolyn Craig as Nora. The movie was directed by William Castle. The five strangers are brought to Haunted Hill in funeral cars - a foreboding of things to come. Lots of great optical effects for a movie of it's time. The producers would plant skeletons on wires to fly above the heads of the theater-goers to frighten them. This movie is still a really popular Halloween film! Does anyone get out of the haunted house alive? With strangled cries, doors slamming shut, apparitions floating in mid-air, the horrors are just beginning. But, watch out - the ending may surprise you! 74 minutes - Black & White - 16:9 (Widescreed).
