Push It Brother
Hunting the Rabbit was forged on a sunny day in the Spring of 2006 in a south Chicago basement. Looking to conjour up a sound that would be a breath of fresh air in the Chicago music scene, grins from ear to ear formed on the faces of four young guys as they realized they found what each had been looking for. With relentless writing and a singer with a bottomless pocket of witty, tongue in cheek lyrics, Hunting the Rabbit has compiled an arsenal of irrisistable tunes with warm, poppy choruses, bluesy breakdowns and acoustic guitar sprinkled on top in all the right places. As each member has brought to the table influences of varied punk, folk rock and blues, it has allowed for each song to adopt it's own style and mood and still sound like the same good old band at all times. The group self produced and recorded it\'s first full length album titled \'This Just In\' in late 2006 and has now released their second project with the help of Chicago producer Mike Hari. Mike Hari has certainly brought the best out of each Rabbit member making this second project a tremendous leap for HTR, so check out our new EP \'Push It Brother.\'
