Singer/guitarist/songwriter, Matt Kurzban heads up the NYC group Immoral Fibres. A veteran of the New York City music scene, his group has developed a sound and energy to be reckoned with. Their brand of soulful aggressive power pop rock packs a flavor that keeps you humming. INGREDIENTS: High energy, charisma and personality is their formula for putting on a show worth mention. The driving guitars, infectious grooves and memorable melodies/harmonies distinguish their sound and remind us that great songs are still king. Strong sensible lyrical content always present from Matt, from self deprivation to letting go of the mind and body and concentrating on the soul. The group is rounded out by Jeff Baker on drums, Richie Touseull on bass and Bill Mann on guitars/backing vox. The group were the first to kick off the Woodstock 99 festival as one of NYCs emerging artists. They have been 'Featured Artists' on NY mainstream radio stations Q104.3FM and WBAI-FM Long Island and are steadily building fanbases in surrounding markets. Make no mistake! Immoral Fibres is a live band. Their songs and charisma convey the message clearly; 'have a good time and be yourself'.
