Boom Shakin' Rattle Maker
Well growing up on Zeppelin, The Stones, The Cult, AC/DC, GnR, Chili Peppers etc, it seemed like a good idea to start playing some rock n roll. I guess it kept us out of trouble. After all playing with different bands, the five of us decided to start jamming together. From our first jam night, Back up Against the Wall came to life. And we've been at it ever since. Writing together, jamming and developing what comes out of those jam sessions. After gigging a lot, (man we hate carrying all that gear up and down 3 flights of stairs) and reaching the finals of the Hard Rock Battle of the Bands; we eventually decided those jam nights gave us enough material to lay down an album. What we wanted, and what we got; was a sound much like the sound of us 5 friends jamming together in our tiny pad in east end Montreal: live, loud, fun, and most importantly, dirty. After juggling album names like Rock n Roll MOFO, Banned from the Garage, 30 minutes to kill (man what were we thinking), Vince finally came up with the most fitting name for our first album: Boom Shakin' Rattle Maker.
