Internal Fear's debut album 'The Unfulfilled Dreams' took one engineer, two studios and two years worth of time before it was completed. It produced a well rounded metal/hard rock album with a lyrical style similar to Suicidal tendencies, an up front in your face, no doubt what's being implied lyrics and song structures similar to metal bands in the 80's( a la megadeatHametallica)But make no mistake this album definitley stands alone and in it's own unique way. The fan favorites 'Rest in Pain' and 'Smile to my Face' along with such songs as 'Doomsday', 'Manslaughter' and 'Living in Fear' are more along the lines of the metal scene in the 80's, heavy guitar and bass riffing with blazing solos and a hard driving drum beat. But songs such as 'Mind your own Business' and '$25,000 Dollar Pyramid Scheme' have more of a hard rock type feel with lyrics being in the fore front and the music more just backing up the vocals. Then there is the unexpected 'Friendship' and 'The old Dogs' are two songs that are pleasant little surprises that stick out and may take a second listen to before realizing this is the same band.So if you are looking for some heavier music, with some originality then check out this album today!
