Born on the third of Octobeer 1982 to the parents of Rosie and Thomas Smith in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Thomas Smith Jr. a.k.a (Jab Jr.) was Driven to rise above the proverty. Being brought up in a heavy drug community he was faced with all sorts of obsticles such as the temptations of the life that we betray. What i mean by that is that most artist have not even been threw half of what they say in they rymes and instead of giving you a way out at the same time, they only show you a way to get into the dope game. At the age of Thriteen i realize that i was going to be involved in music. By the year 1996 i finally recorded my first song and 2 years later finally recorded my first song in a semi professional studio. What a feeling being able to channel that hustlers image into doing something positive. From sitting on the sign in Lincoln Park watchin out for the police to sitting on the sign in the hood just to take a album cover or just relax. Youn see i did not choose to rap, rappinmg choose me. It is my escape route, my way to be free,a way to vent, a way to reach and teach the younger ones that the streets is not the way out. A way to risev above all the obsticles and become a legend, some to look up to, some one to be like. It gives you a reason to be DRIVEN. Halla at yo boi JAB.
