I have been writing songs since the beginning of my troubled teen years, and on through the ups and downs, joys and heartaches, wisdom and foolishness - and the searching and finding of my life. During that time I was always involved in music somehow. It's always been a huge part of me. I just kept my writing to myself - alone with my guitar. It was a place of a private escape. I spent a lot of time trying to be what everyone else wanted me to be. It's only in the past 4-5 years that I've learned not be afraid of who I really am. I realized I might have a chance to make a difference in the world if I would come out of hiding. And not sharing my God given ability was in a way very selfish of me. Now I see how it has blessed people and it's a joy to be able to do that. My music seems to appeal to a wide audience. It can be described as acoustic, rock, folk, contemporary Christian - a lot of things. But it's always real and always honest. I long to connect with those who feel alone in their personal struggles - to give them hope and encouragement in these times filled with so much pain and disappointment.
