Jazz Caravan has been a regional favorite in the Baltimore metro area for over ten years. Voted "best" by Music Monthly, the City Paper, and the Baltimore Sun, the six-member Caravan offers a diverse repertoire of jazz standards from the 1920s-1960s, as well as original tunes with a vintage flair. The band's special blend of horns and vocals creates a classic sound with a distinctively energetic edge. Atlay Washington fronts the band. Liz Sesler-Beckman plays keys, Dave Hughes bass, Eric Heavner trumpet, Dave Rybczynski sax, and Ron Tanner drums. Their collective experience is vast-from the Stan Kenton orchestra to the Berklee College of Music.
