Jennifer Louise Taylor is a singer/songwriter whose music embodies generosity in the form of musical sound. From the earliest planting of a lyrical seed, her songs develop into full-blown affairs replete with harmonic layers and artful instrumentation. The Brentwood Bay Times writes that "[Jennifer] captures the elusive west-coast feel in a way few others can." Jennifer has toured with the alt-country band Barley Wik and co-authored two songs on their latest CD, 'Beyond the Down.' Jennifer Louise Taylor has been surrounded by music from an early age. She was born in Victoria, British Columbia but raised by folk-dancing parents in Kenya, Iran and Malaysia. Early on, Jennifer learned that we are all citizens of the world. Her musical influences reflect the diversity with which she was raised spanning from traditional folk to good old country music.
