Beyond Further Flavors
'Splashes of color soothe my eyes, not from the year which I was born." Lyrics taken from the song 'Dirty Dani' off Jeprocket's debut EP, Bird Doctor. This philosophy is but a crumb off the multi-layered sandwich that is Jeprocket. Great lyrics, smooth rhythms, sharp riffs, and solid backbeats are some of the qualities that make Jeprocket the dynamic group they are. You can say that the four Anderson boys were born into a musical family. Growing up, they were surrounded by diverse musical styling's ranging from Blues, Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Soul, and Country. Their fathers and uncles were musicians as well who had their own band. This enabled them to pick up their instruments with a sense of comfort. As time went by and their adoration for music grew, like their father's band before, they started their own group. And because of their musical upbringing, they are now able to capture the quality of the past while creating their music that is not only refreshing but undeniable, which is something that is needed and should be valued in music today. In the four-year span that they have been together as a serious group, they have managed to gain a strong following of fans by gigging up and down Southern California, as well as shows up north. They have also managed to release an EP entitled Bird Doctor, which they wrote, produced, and recorded all themselves out of their own home. After being away for a number of months, Jeprocket has finally returned from nowhere land with their debut full length album 'BEYOND FURTHER FLAVORS.' Recorded at The Beyond Further Ranch, the album includes the songs Me And Her, Blue Monday, Wonder Why and many more. 'I have to say that if you run out and buy the CD, which you should, you are still only going to get half of the benefit of Jeprocket and the freshness they bring to the new music scene. Why, because they prove that 'live music is your best entertainment value.'' - PT Rothschild, Full Value Review When asked what their mission is as artists, they put it plain and simple, 'To put people on an emotional train ride. You can sit and listen to every word, get up and move, or simply close your eyes and see the sound.'
