From his early years of performing in Greenwich Village to the present, Jerry Rasmussen has brought his mixture of traditional American folk music and his own songs in a traditional style to audiences on the East Coast and throughout the Midwest. Accompanying himself on guitar, banjo and mandola, Jerry is joined on this album by a wide range of friends including Gordon Bok, Ed Trickett, Sally Rogers and Howie Bursen, Dave Para and Cathy Barton and many others, Rasmussen's rich baritone and knack at writing memorable choruses has made him a popular fixture in the folk music world for the last 40 years. His songs have been recorded by artists as diverse as Bok, Trickett and Muir, Dave Para and Cathy Barton, Susan Trump, Roy Harris in England and Art Thieme.
