Where Ive Been
Jesse was born with many musical gifts, inheriting his talent from his grandmother, who played classical piano purely by ear, and father, who, during his time, was one of the best professional guitar players in South Florida. As a young teenager, Jesse wrote his first song on an old nylon string guitar and soon realized that he had a gift, not only for writing, but singing as well. He received an Associate of Arts degree in voice from Broward Community College, and the transition to professional performing artist was a natural progression. He sang and played guitar, both acoustic and lead in bands, and then as a solo. He learned piano by ear, just like his grandmother. He's a prolific writer with his own poetic style, and his gift for melody is richly enhanced by a beautiful voice. His CD, 'Where I've Been' is a collection of heartfelt original music, inspired by real life and deep emotion, masterfully conceived. Some have compared him to Billy Joel, but his influences reach as far as Rush, Paul McCartney, Neil Diamond and even Nelly Furtado. If you like sentimental, thoughtful music, you'll be genuinely touched by this CD!
