Songs from the Heart of Jim Morris: Songwriter
James M. Morris of JAMOR Music LLC has been writing songs and poems for years. He\'s a member of The Entertainer Network\'s EIA Association. He\'s also the winner of The Entertainer Network\'s EIA Platinum Artist and Writer 2006 & 2007 in Nashville, TN. He was born the son of a coal miner and truck driver in 1939 in Breathitt Co. Kentucky. The sudden death of his father when he was just eight years old left Jim the man of the family because he was the oldest. His mother was penniless with three children to rear. Several members of the family played musical instruments while Jim was growing up so that provided a great environment for him to develop his love for Country and Bluegrass music. At the age of eighteen, James joined the Marines for three years. During his enlistment, he met his wife Olive. After the marines he attended Lee\'s Jr. College, the University of Cincinnati, and then the University of Lexington to earn his Engineering degree. At age 55, he was forced into retirement so Jim focused even more on his music. He then went to Nashville to record 10 of his original songs on an album. Now we bring you the album \'Songs From The Heart\' volume 1 all published under his music company JAMOR Music.
