Forest Through the Trees
All right! You've found my CD. That's great! Let me tell you a little about myself and my music. I am a 37 year old male living in a small town in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. I've lived here most my life. I went to College for Pre-med and graduated in 1999 with a degree in Biology with a minor in Music. Now about my music. My music is all original. I have been inspired by well known artists such as Giovani, Yanni,Tim Janis, Mozart along with heavy metal bands and even rappers. But my main inspiration comes from Spirit. You can call it God, the Holy Spirit, the ECK and as many religions as there are I'm sure you can find more names for that wonderful expression of Gods love. Now I'm not trying to get religious on you I just want to be truthfull. I have to give credit where credit is due. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia back in 2000 but have suffered through the first stages of it since my fourth year of pre-med. I am well medicated and doing really well right now. The only problem is that I have trouble in the social arena. I do well in short spurts but working an 8-5 job has been impossible. Although I am getting stronger now and I've found an area that I'm getting better at I still have some difficulty. I created my CD after my father, a very compassionate man and my mother who is equally compasstionate, bought me a computer. I studied piano my last two years of College and found I had music in me. I can't read music that well and I rely on my love of sound and God to produce my music. I'd even say it comes from God, which it does. I consider myself a willing instrument of God. Once again, I'm not pulling religion on you it just happens to be what I believe. The reason I am selling my music is because I have a massive student loan debt and no means to make the monthy consolidated payments. Living in South Dakota has it's advantages but money isn't one of them. (I am working on it, though). I'm really putting stock in my music and that you will like it and buy one or more CD's and your charity. Anyway I can pay for my debt I'm willing to do. Plus it is a great product for anyone willing to pay the $12.50. I truly am using every cent generated from this CD to pay for my student loans. I just need to sell around 5,000 CD's to do it. That's a scratch paper figure that seems to work out if I use proceeds to buy more manufactured CD's. I've made about 600 dollars so far and I've put it all but $347 dollars back in. It's working great so far. I truly appreciate the fact that you have read this far into my bio. And Please, if you or anyone you know may want to buy my CD or even donate to my goal it would be truly a wonderful. I'm not looking for a hand out but I'll take'em if offered. If you buy one of my CD's you will be getting a CD with beautiful music on it. Thank you very much. Sincerely, John C.F. Davis.
