Mainly Mellow and Basically Blue
I'm a musician in my mid forties who started entertaining in pubs 20 yrs ago and never lost the love for music. I've written my share of songs over the years and sang countless covers but now after completing my CD I've felt real fulfilment. I'm half American and half New Zealander an interesting combination which reflects in my two styles of music on the CD (depicted on the cover of the CD with the flags). My songs are varied . Some heart wrenching and others humorous blues with three covers that are there for a reason. "Slipping Away" sung by my 9yr old daughter, Tayla and myself , very special. "In the Ghetto" The song my mother requested every Christmas until she passed away, and "Black Hills Of Dakota", My American fathers theme song . All the others are originals with feeling and depth, born from many emotional times. Easy listening, but thought provoking .
