Product Notes

This is a collection of many of my first attempts at making recordings of music. Many of the songs are instrumental and short, some of them are long, with vocals. You can pretty much get a great sense of what my discovery in music was like by listening to the 27 selected tracks for this CD. An hour and twenty minutes worth of original music, most of which you cannot find anywhere on the Internet but here at CDBaby.com. Here's the lyrics for those songs that have vocals: Track 6: Breakfast Burrito, Haiku: Haiku to the Breakfast Burrito! Your tangy ground beef Your ingredients unknown I really love them! Your tangy ground beef! Precious tortilla, Wrapping in the best food stuffs Like eggs and those things Precious tortilla! And eggs fill me up just like those melted cheeses And that's hot to me Breakfast Burrito, you warm the cold depths in me This wicked morning Track 8: Crazy from the Fodder I still have a lot to learn And I alone have created that ability But there are things I've learned alone Like nothing lasts forever like the past And maybe things harder Lessons harder to learn But I'm Crazy from the Fodder Look at the time I burn ... la da da da da Track 9: Do You Hear It? Halloween, improvisation is here What a wonderful evening You're never here enough for me You'll find on Halloween ... You'll find it here ... On Halloween, improvisation is here And you'll find it here And you'll find it here And you'll find it here Track 13: In Your Absence You, you are my friend I'll love you after all is said and done 'Cause no one takes my heart Like laughter in the dark with you So come take my hand, every body's hand Feeling true and that you understand my life. And even though I know you're leaving I just can't believe it's happening now I'm sure I'll work it out some how But I don't want to Cause you can't make me There will be a gaping hold In Your Absence. Track 15: Lazy Days Lazy Days I can't get it together Get it together, Ooh ooh ooh oooh You think you know, getting through, Getting over this wasted time. Track 19: Open Your Heart Look, you're here It's inside the sphere Open up your heart Look through from here Inside the sphere, You'll never guess what's happening You'll always find it's freer than mankind You've got to Open up Your Heart. Look through the fear Inside the sphere You'll never guess what's happening You'll always find it's freer than mankind You've got to Open up Your Heart. Track 20: Smoke Break Some days I feel really overwhelmed I feel like all I can do is lay down and turn on the tv There are so many channels (come on pass it to me, it's not fair, I want a hit) And most of the time The channels stress me out If I'm not hearing about violence or death I'm being sold religion left and right Or they want me to buy their cereal because I'm this certain kind of soccor mom. I only fit in with TLC, Lifetime or Bravo it seems And even though stations can be tedious, I need to start taking my smoke break outdoors Where silence bids me peace of mind and tranquility Sometimes I just need a place where I can hear myself think And know that I, myself, am indeed, the only one doing the thinking! (beginning of song) Where, where did I put my keys? Please help me understand, where I am, And what is going on in my life What is up your sleeve? Oh please, please help me understand What channel I should be tuning in on On my own life? well Nevermind ... Nevermind ... Oh God, the stars outside are so bright tonight! Which one do I choose? I can barely tell them all apart! Where do I start from here? Where do I start, falling apart from here? I can feel the stars deceiving me ... I can feel the stars deceiving me ... Track 21: Snowflake Like a snowflake, I am slowly falling through windy currents, how they stir so deep inside of me. Like a handshake, the deal was made before it started; startled me into a frenzy of neverending. Never will I come, never will I Never will I land Never will I come to the place where the story ends Never here, never there, everywhere Am I melting? Is that what dying feels like? Somehow I can see and feel and breathe the air around me. This is scary and I am sure I am getting somewhere now because the wind is slowing down. What will I become? Who will I be? I can't see the light now Everything is going to black Where did that wind go? Give it back! Let me go, let me go .... Track 27: To Death, We Sang Help me ... Help me ... I'm stuck in this house He's coming! Help me! I'm stuck in this house Help me ... Everybody said there'd be a time you'd lose control you've always got to get it on your own. On your own ...
