Jesus Is Worthy to Be Praised
Inspired by God and given unique singing gifts and talents from his youth, Elder Thomas grew up singing in choirs, quartets and other reknown music groups, such as the Heavenly Starlights Quartet and The Players. A prolific songwriter since early adulthood, he's written many songs in various genres that have garnered noteworthy national attention. One such song was the #1 hit 'He'll Be Back' recorded by The Players. Coming into his own, he organized Keith and Kim Records as an outlet for his own music as well as other independent artists. He produced his first CD, 'Out Of The Storm' in 2002. His second and current project 'Jesus Is Worthy To Be Praised' is an anointed, traditional gospel gem with strong southern gospel inflections. This is a total package for diverse gospel afficianados who love to hear the 'Word' in song. Strong scriptural lyrics are reminiscent of the early Jackson Southernaires - you can learn some bible just listening to the songs, which is quite refreshing in these troubled times when too much of gospel music is just inspirational. Featured guest on this project are the 'Legendary' Hugh Brown of the nationally acclaimed Brown Brothers and Rev. Charles Robertson, a collaboration which results in an anointed and soulful mix of powerful praise.
