Amazing refreshing version of Alternative Rock. Jon Stone's debut album 'Chameleon Baby' sheds light on an enigmatic songwriter that has a strong perspective and interesting introduction to the Alternative Rock scene. Each song has a distinct style with a completely different story to tell. Though most are quite abstract and tend to go a bit ambiguous with pop appeal, the artist's point is expressed and this may be blunt in some cases. There are a couple punk overtoned songs (All Star and Blood). Also some poppy songs like Chameleon Baby, Don't Leave Me Now and Without Any Strings Attached. Possibly the most powerful of all on the album is the flag-ship ballad song LA Xpress. You will also be subjected to Jon Stone's raw punchy, cutting edge rock like Obliterate and Get It Right. Finally, when you thought that you have heard it all, get ready for the sarcastic, quirky, comedic twist of a song Poor Muzza Huckers. All in all, you will either be tantalized or entertained by Jon Stone's Chameleon Baby.
