Juan Francisco Zerpa is a Venezuelan singer/songwriter with three musical productions edited in independent way at the musical business of his native country. He is a singer, drummer and composer. He studied singing, acting and blues with the renowned American singer Janice Williams. He has performed at several stages in Caracas, Miami, Bogotá and Madrid and has made appearances in many TV shows. He also played in Musicals at important theatres in Caracas. In 1999 released his first CD, "Juan Francisco", produced by Guillermo Carrasco. In 2001 he released his second record: "Ecos" ("Echoes"), a 4 tracks EP. In the beginning of 2004 he finished the recording of his third CD "Lejos de aquí" ("Far away from here") which was released in 2005. This record contains ten songs with the sound of blues and alternative rock. In this CD, Juan Francisco has made his first performance as musical producer. In 2008 he release a compilation CD called \'Crónicas\' (Chronicles) that includes his best songs and three new songs. His songs had been included in four compilations: "El solar de los desconocidos" (2000), "CAUTION: Music Zone" (2004), "Atracciones de Otoño '05" (2005) and "Sonogram" (2006). This last three CD's were edited in Miami by ¡BOOM! Magazine (a renowned Alternative Latin Rock magazine). He also won "The Mar de Plata International award" as revelation male singer of the year (1998).
