Justonfriday Head members and owners of the Justonfriday band Robert Steven Jones and Lee Thomas Harris have come a long way from their small beginnings in Mississippi. Both men have worked in the small and large night clubs trying to make a dollar to survive. Steven spent most of his life playing guitar in the Mississippi area but played some blues and rock in the New Orleans and the Alabama area also. Tommy, on the other hand ventured out around the world touring and pushing records around the United States then worked his way into China and back again. Tommy (a piano player) and former band the Jay Walkers have opened for entertainers such as the Bellomy Brothers, Hank Williams Jr., Vern Gosden, Shoji Tabuchi (one of the world's greatest fiddle players), Freddy Weller (former member of Paul Reveer and the Raiders), Nat Stuckey, Cal Smith, Ace Cannon, Murry Kellum and many others. Both men play numerous instruments. Their styles of music are spontaneous and come from the heart and soul. Neither are limited to just one kind of music. This new CD, album named Just Monday features a little bit of pop, rock, and blues . You can also find their country album (Gone Country) and gospel album (Jesus Is Knocking) on cdbaby.com,. Steven and Tommy met after Tommy worked as a guest at the Depot Lounge in Meridian, Mississippi. The relationship went from there and now the two are best friends. The next tour is in January 2007.
