"Imagine all this fuss over a toy" (Nana, THE VELVETEEN RABBIT - 1922) Theatre artist Kathryn Popham has been delighting young audiences in schools, libraries and theatres across Canada and the U.S.A. with her solo dramatic presentation of the children's classic "The Velveteen Rabbit". We are thrilled to announce the CD release of her new musical version of this famous tale. Collaborating with composers Terry Blersh and Andrew Gilpin, Kathryn's skillful mix of drama, original music and songs brings Margery Williams' inspirational story to life. Producer/arranger Terry Blersh enlisted some of Canada's most talented musicians, as well as engineer extraordinaire Jeremy Darby (Alicia Keys, Barenaked Ladies), to create the sounds and styles inspired by the songs.
