Living in Yellow
Katie Bolding first sang in her Crib in Winnemucca, Nevada. She was 9 months old. Her friends have noticed that she's never stopped. She formed a high school band, disowned it, and formed a college band. She dropped out of college and produced her first CD; Dropped back in and produced her second solo CD. Katie loves music more than life itself, believes that all people should sing together, dance like no one is watching, and pray for world air conditioning. As lead singer for her first band, The Mudslingers, Katie played in every bar in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and north Texas. She has found a loyal following in her home state. Eskimo Joe's wept when the Mudslingers parted ways. Katie writes most of her own material and it appears on matchbooks, Wendy's napkins, and some of it has hovered in midair for years. She sings the blues, rock, slow songs, fast songs, classical, Opera (favorite), and country. She is a perfectionist, and therefore, she does it Well, or doesn't do it at All. Her fans agree. She is worth-a-listen.
