Kent Schoch is unique among singer/songwriters. He spent his life up until his 30s watching and listening to music and musicians from the sidelines. Always a great fan of music, he never considered doing it himself, though he did write poetry and prose and studied both in college. Then at the tender young age of 33 he bought a guitar. A few years later he wrote his first song, Lonely F***ing Man, and within a year after that he was playing in local bars watching people sing along to his songs. He has often said that he feels like an adolescent because he got into this scene and lifestyle at an age where most are in full stride in their careers. Now at the age of 43 he has his first full length CD out of original songs, is working with music industry professionals in Nashville as a songwriter and has performed and recorded with internationally known musicians.
