Description
His Wits, Weapons and Women, Turned Defeat Into Victory! The film follows the story of a man named Flint Mitchell, played by Chill Wills, who is bringing a wagonload of Kentucky rifles through the wild west to California. Unfortunately for Mitchell, his wagon breaks down in dangerous terriority. While trying to repair their wagon and continue their journey they encounter a hostile group of Native Americans who realize what he has and offer the travelers an ultimatum: the rifles or their lives! The movie is notable for it's portrayal of the rugged frontier life and the struggle for survival in the untamed wilderness of early America, as well as the clash of cultures. It showcases the iconic Kentucky rifle, a symbol of independence and self-reliance for the settlers of that era. Starring Lance Fuller, Sterling Holloway, Henry Hull, Chill Wills, Cathy Downs, and Jeanne Cagney, plus one of the great B-Western heels, I. Stanford Jolley!
