Famous Right Here
Kevin James Havron was born an Army brat on June 16, 1966. He was raised on Army bases all over the United States and in Europe. His parents, Ervin and Maria, put him in every sports program by the time he could walk, as well as his older siblings Dina and Lin. He joined the Army himself after graduating from Mission High school in the lower Texas Rio Grande valley. He was honorable discharged at the end of his term of service, got married to Rachel (20 years now). Got a job as a teamster Forklift operator, and had three children, Keith Ty, Kyle Ervin, and Savannah Marie. Then at age 30, everything changed. On his birthday he started guitar lessons and learned how to sing. Six months later a Nashville talent scout encouraged him to head to the Music city, where he cut his first four singles. He started to get air play on KHEY 96 FM in El Paso. The program director was thrilled with Kevin's single "Goldie Locks" at an in person music call. In six more months Kevin was hooked on the music business. Kevin said, "Hearing your voice on the radio was a fantasy come true". He considers himself lucky because he's heard nine more of his singles on the radio across Texas. He's made a modest living over the last eight years fronting two Texas bands, 'Kevin and the Kickers' and 'The Kings of the Motel 6'. The later can be found on the Internet at Raphsody & ITunes among others. On New Years Eve 2005 his life changed again when he started his solo career playing acoustic and singing in local Honky Tonks in the Austin Area. His fan base continues to grow from his website at Myspace.com/kevinhavron and his latest CD "Famous Right Here". "Famous Right Here" is a collection of the truth as he sees it. Every song on this CD is truthfully honest about playing in his last band and missing his family while he was playing. "There is some guilt to be had in this industry if you are a family man because I always felt like I was missing out at home and I was." reminisces Kevin. Kevin has shared the stage with Johnny Paycheck, Eddie Raven, Malo Santana, Rick Trevino, Johnny Rodriguez, Sonny Throckmorton, Freddie Powers, Jack Ingram, Kevin Fowler, Corey Morrow, Pete Benz, Blue Edmondson Peter Dawson, Jackson Taylor, The Ace In The Hole Band, just to name a few. The new CD features "Down In Iraq", "Lifetime Guarantee", "Longhorn Orange" and "Everytime Savannah Smiles".
